What Is A Party?
A party is a get-together of people for the intention of socialising and leisure. The host invites people to a particular venue where the party will typically include eating and drinking, usually accompanied by music and dancing.
Parties are often held in honour of an individual person, day, or event; for example, a birthday, Halloween or St. Patrick's Day. Parties can be private or very public, depending on the event or how the host decides to plan theirs.
Public parties are sometimes situated in pubs, clubs or halls, and attendees may be charged an admission fee by the host or venue owner.
The main and most important objective of a party, however, is to have FUN!
