The Difference Between Latex and Foil Balloons
There are two main types of balloons that you can buy, these are Latex Balloons and Foil Balloons.
Latex Balloons
Latex Balloons are the normal round rubber balloons, that you can fill with with either air, or helium gas.
If filled with helium, they will last about 10-12 hours (depending on the quality and size of the balloon). If filled with air, they can last over a week. They are made from natural latex rubber. These balloons are much cheaper than foil balloons.
Foil Balloons
Foil Balloons come in lots of different shapes, colours and sizes, and are only for filling with helium. They have a shiny metallic appearance.
They need to be filled using a special cylinder (which you can buy or hire from us, or use at any one of our stores). Once inflated, they will last for at least 10-14 days, but can last for as long as 2 months. They are made from a special kind of foil.
