Water Based Paint is, as
its name suggests, a water based make-up. You need to apply
it with a damp sponge or brush (available here),
the damper the applicator, the lighter the colour will come out. As
with water-based paint, you can mix and blend colours.
Once applied, the make-up will dry
on, so as not to smudge, and is then easily removed with soap
and water.
Grease Paint is a cheaper
alternative, and some professionals prefer to use it for theatrical
purposes. The make-up can be either applied with the fingers,
a sponge or a brush (available here).
Once applied, the make-up stays
greasy, increasing the chances of it smudging. You will
require a make-up remover to remove the make-up.
