Very exciting gossip has reached our eager ears here at Just for Fun today. There are whisperings that US television network the CW is looking at the possibility of bringing Wonder Woman back to our telly boxes in the near future.
The project is said to currently be at the very earliest stages of script development at the moment, but the rumour is that the new pilot would be taking what is called a “Smallville approach” to Wonder Woman’s story. That’s to say the proposed series would focus on the formative years of the young woman who goes on to become everyone’s favourite Amazonion boob-tube wearing defender of liberty in the same way that Smallville focused on the adventures of the teenaged Clark Kent.
We’ll be keeping our fingers firmly crossed that this fledgling Wonder Woman telly series is given the green light. We can certainly vouch for the fact that Wonder Woman has remained a firm favourite with fancy dress fans over the years, particularly for girly nights out and hen dos.
