Just For Fun was established in 1974 as a family business, as a way to make a living for the Richards family. The company remains family owned to this day, and we plan on keeping it that way. We believe in celebration, and have been trading in fancy dress costumes, party supplies & decorations to Hampshire in the United Kingdom for over 30 years, and to the rest of the world via our mail order department and website since 1997.
We pride ourselves in our phenomenal product range, now with nearly 10,000 individual lines available to buy online. The diversity of our product range from fancy dress costumes, to party supplies is unrivalled, and we're committed to bringing you the latest costumes and party supplies at the lowest prices. Because of our long established relationship with our suppliers, we're able to buy at low prices, and pass these savings on to you.

A Family Business
Just For Fun was established by brothers Geoff Richards and Peter Richards in 1974. The company remains fully owned by the Richards family to this day. Because we are a family business, we are not primarily concerned with profit, and focus more on the quality of our product, while keeping costs low.
Super Stocked Branches
We have three branches in the Hampshire area, all of which carry our fantastic product range. Our Southampton branch, also offers fancy dress hire, and is well known in the area for providing a great range of costumes, with a friendly service. Just For Fun employs a superb team of almost 40 members of staff across our 3 branches and our mail order department. All our employees are committed to bring the best service to you, our customer. Our workforce is friendly, and all members of our team are encouraged to share ideas and help improve the company as a whole. We're proud of our employees, and we're confident that they will provide you with the best service possible.
Our Mail Order Department
Our mail order department and website has been growing since it first began in 1997. A creation of Geoff Richards' son, Joseph Richards, the website began small, with orders being printed from e-mails, packaged and taken to our local post office. The website now has a dedicated despatch center, operating 7 days a week, with daily Royal Mail and courier collections taking 1000's of orders for despatch during our peaking trading times.
Our Vision
Just For Fun believes in celebration, we source quality goods from suppliers internationally to bring you affordable, creative and original fancy dress and party products to help you celebrate, and have fun. We strive to continue to lower the cost of celebrating, and make a wider range of fantastic products available to our customers from one place. We're not aiming for market domination, rather we are aiming for a better, wider and more affordable range of products for our customers, in fancy dress, party supplies, and novel gifts. We want to make celebration easier, and more affordable.
A Green Future
Just For Fun continues to grow, and we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment. We already conduct the majority of our business electronically, and aim to reduce and improve our packaging methods for mail orders in the future to further reduce the amount of waste we produce.
Almost all packaging materials we send our products to our customers in are recyclable, and we encourage our customers to recycle all packaging where possible.
